Which way to Pronoia?
Facilitation (Pronoia)
A Delphi study gets into Pronoia by one of two ways. Both end in the same place: a ready study whose panel, theses and rounds you can still edit after it has been created. The difference is where you start from.
For beginners
➕ New study (wizard)
- Choose a template – one for each Delphi variation.
- Go through the seven steps and change what is yours.
- Create the study in Pronoia.
When you are running your first Delphi, or you do not have a finished plan yet.
For experienced users
📥 Import plan file
- Import a file made with the planning plugins or saved from the wizard – or choose a special template or an example study.
- Check the preview.
- Create the study, or open the plan in the wizard to edit it.
When the plan already exists and you want it in Pronoia as it is.
Where to find them
Both are side by side in the dashboard sidebar: ➕ New study (wizard) and 📥 Import plan file. Hovering over a button shows a short hint about who it is for.
The ways cross
Choosing one does not close the other:
- In the last step of the wizard you can save the plan as a file and import it later – for example after a colleague has checked it.
- From the import page you can open any plan or template in the wizard and go through it step by step before creating the study.
Next
- Your first Delphi with the wizard – a picture of every step.
- From a plan to Pronoia – the plan file, special templates and example studies.
- Finishing your plan in Pronoia – after either way: from a draft to ready to invite.
